A new forum for female discussion, connecting women in creative conversation. Led by author Siân Ede and vocal performer Frances Lynch, this will be an opportunity to gain an insight into their work, as well as explore the issues facing women today.
Musician extraordinare Frances Lynch, Director of Electric Voice Theatre, talks to Siân Ede, author of ‘Art and Science’, about the nature of experiment in pushing the boundaries of the singing voice, going on to discuss Electric Voice Theatre’s new series of short operas about leading women scientists by leading women composers.
Siân Ede is Arts Director of the Gulbenkian Foundation and an author and popular speaker on Art and Science. Throughout her career she has brought together people from different disciplines and is a commentator on sci-art projects.
Frances Lynch is a celebrated vocal performer and voice teacher. Her international career spans the genres of Music-Theatre, Electronic Music, Opera, and Chamber Music.
